THE CEMETERY
AT POTTERSVILLE REFORMED CHURCH
History
The gravestones at Pottersville Reformed Church reveal the history of Pottersville, bearing names like Sering Potter Sr., whose gristmill produced feed for Revolutionary War horses, George Moore, who donated the land on which the church stands, as well as Corporal John P. Carson, a Union Civil War soldier.
The history of Pottersville Reformed Church is about the founding fathers, their descendants and community members who gave their all to establish a church, see it though changing times, and never giving up the belief that this church is and must remain an integral part of the community.
